Privacy
The University of British Columbia Library Vault herein after referred to as "Library Vault" is committed to protecting your privacy when you visit our Web site, shop at the Vault Online Store, use the Web site to make a donation or participate in other online activities. The Vault does not collect personal information about individuals, such as names and mailing or e-mail addresses, unless the individual knowingly provides it. In choosing to provide this information, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Vault's Privacy Policy, which is outlined below.
The Vault values your privacy. Your email address will not be sold, rented, or otherwise distributed to any third party. It will be used only to reply to your questions, or to inform you of upcoming events. You may unsubscribe from the Vault's email list at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link on the newsletter, or by contacting library.development@ubc.ca. The Vault will not sell, trade, or rent the personal information you provide to us when you make an online purchase, donation, or signup to receive e-Newsletters. We may compile and provide aggregate statistics about our visitors, customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related site information to third parties, but these statistics will not include any personally identifying information.
Online Security
To prevent unauthorized site access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Online Purchases and Donations
When you support the Library Vault by making a purchase or donation online, we will ask you to provide us with the information we need to process and acknowledge your contribution. This information includes your name, billing and mailing addresses, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. Your credit card information will be used only as authorized to process your transaction. We will retain your order information for our records so that we can track your order.
Purchases from the Library Vault's e-store
(a) Credit Card Charges
We accept the following credit cards:

MasterCard
Your credit card will be charged approximately 1 to 2 days prior to shipping. In the case of a partial shipment you will only be charged for items shipped.
(b) Confirmation of Order
You will receive an e-mail conformation of your order. Please note the Confirmation/Transaction Number for purposes of order tracking.
(c) Once ordered, items cannot be cancelled or refunded.
(e) Shipping Policy
Shipping is available to sites within Canada and the U.S. Please allow up to 21 days for delivery of items.
The Library Vault will notify you if any item cannot be shipped within 30 days, and you will be given the option to wait until the item becomes available.
All delivery prices include packing and handling.
(f) Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. Should the item remain out of stock, we will confirm the cancellation of your order for this product directly.
Computer Viruses
While every effort is made to ensure that information on this site does not contain viruses, you should take reasonable and appropriate precautions to avoid them, and ensure that you have a complete and current backup of the applicable items or information contained on your computer system.
Content
The information and materials contained at the Vault's Site, including the text, images, any other accompanying credits, arrangement and general design (collectively, the "Content") are owned or licensed by the University of British Columbia Library, the respective artist or the artist's estate. All images and text posted on the Vault's website are protected by copyright. Any commercial or publication use is strictly prohibited. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any Content. Reproduction of the Content except as specifically provided in this paragraph is prohibited without the express written authorization of the University of British Columbia Library or the copyright owner. Requests to use images or information appearing on the Library Vault's website may be directed to library.development@ubc.ca. Any publication or commercial use of the Content is strictly prohibited.
